Professional Editing and Proofreading Services

All services include a complimentary trial to ensure that we are a good fit for one another. If either of us feel our styles may not mesh, that's perfectly understandable and we move on :). My proofreading process consists of a three-step process which is used for everything I proofread, whether it be a 20-word social media post or a 5,000+ word blog. I edit/proofread in Microsoft Word, using the track changes feature, as well as in Adobe Acrobat, for PDFs, and in Google Docs, using the suggesting mode. I'm very flexible and happy to accommodate your preferred method. I provide a very quick turnaround time and will always have your project back to you by the due date/time, typically earlier. In addition to the below packages, custom pricing is also available.

I offer a free sample, up to 350 words. If you have a project that is larger than your typical children's picture book, or a long blog post for example, we can discuss a larger sample edit.

This sample is offered as a way to ensure that both of us are happy with each other's style and feel as if we will be a good match to work together in the future!

My children's book editing package includes the following:

The three-step process that I use for all proofreading and copyediting projects ensures that your content is reviewed as in-depth and with as great of detail as humanly possible.

Rates are $25.00 per hour

Copyediting

Includes everything in the Proofreading Package plus the following copyediting services:

Ensuring that the capitalization and punctuation are correct
Reviewing for Consistency
Fact-Checking
Reviewing for Readability
Reviewing to ensure that the correct style guide is followed
Reviewing for clarity
Reviewing for conciseness
Ensuring proper flow of the document

Rates are $30.00 per hour

Teachers Pay Teachers (TpT) Package

Includes all services listed for both proofreading and copyediting.

I have been providing these services to TPT authors for 8 years and have worked with 15+ different TpT authors/stores during that time.
